ATN - PVS14-3 - 1 AA Battery - Night Vision Multi Purpose Systems - 3rd Gen

Designed for the most demanding night time applications, this PVS14 night vision multi purpose system in 3rd generation with 1AA battery configuration from ATN is based on the military issue AN/PVS-14. ATN PVS-14 monocular features Automatic Brightness Control with manual override for changes in light conditions, Bright Light Protection, demist shield, a sacrificial window, and internal low battery and infrared indicators all packaged in a compact, rugged, waterproof nitrogen-purged housing.

A large selection of optional accessories make ATN PVS-14 night vision device extremely versatile. Detection ranges can be increased by adding to the 1x objective high-resolution 3x or 5x Mil Spec Afocal lenses. To illuminate distant objects, several external IR Illuminators are available. A camera/camcorder adaptor attaches the NO-PVS-14 to 35 mm SLR cameras and camcorders for nighttime use.

For azimuth, a magnetic compass can be attached to the device to superimpose compass headings on the night vision image. Installed on a Mil Spec weapon mount, ATN PVS-14 adds night vision capabilities to daytime holosights like EoTech or Aimpoint.

Monocular can be configured as the Mono Goggle by adding a Mil Spec headgear and swing arm adaptor.

These 3rd Generation tubes provide a combined increase in resolution, signal to noise and photosensitivity over tubes with a multi-alkali photocathode. Generation 3 is the standard for the USA military.
